These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the LearnPay platform (the "Service"), operated by Simpleefy Limited ("LearnPay", "we", "our", or "us"). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.
LearnPay provides a digital fee collection and school management platform that enables schools to set up fee structures, manage student ledgers, invite parents, and collect payments through bank transfers and offline channels, with automated reconciliation and notifications.
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to or use of your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.
Before a school can invite team members or activate live payment collection, it must complete verification by submitting required documents (including its registration certificate, identity verification, and settlement account details). We review submissions and will notify the school owner by email once verification is complete. We may reject documents that appear invalid and will request corrections where necessary.
Certain aspects of the platform, including service charges and platform fees, are described within the Service and may change from time to time. We will provide reasonable notice of any fee changes. Where a bank transfer is used, transaction or service charges may apply as communicated at the point of payment.
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access, interfering with the operation of the platform, using automated means to collect data, or using the Service for any unlawful purpose. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of content you submit, including student and parent information.
Fees collected through the Service are directed to the relevant school's designated settlement account in accordance with the school's setup. We are not a party to the underlying educational agreement between a school and its parents or students. Refunds and fee disputes are handled between the school and the payer; we will assist with payment records where reasonably possible.
The Service, including its software, design, and content, is owned by or licensed to LearnPay and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without our prior written consent.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LearnPay shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or where required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos, Nigeria.
